Suzy looked around one day and realized she was just like all the other geese. She wanted to be different. She thinks of all the different animals she could be, and what she could do if she was each of these animals. Then she had a run in with a lion, and wanted to roar just like him. Instead he started to chase her, and she realized that she could still do things that other animals could, but now she had a pack of geese to run to and be protected. Maybe being like all the other geese isn’t so bad, however, she will always stand out just a little bit.

I have really been enjoying Petr Horacek’s books. They all seem to have very sweet messages for children. This book helps to teach little kids about different animals and their different abilities. I particularly like the display of the text in this book. A lot of it is placed in fun shapes and sizes. I also really like his illustrations. They are big and colorful, and they always make me giggle. Definitely recommended!
